Joining a Game
So you've been invited to a Vine Savant tasting? Awesome. Here is how to join the fun and crush the competition.
1. Joining the Lobby
Your host will provide a **Game Code** (e.g., "RED42").
- Go to play.vinesavant.com or open the app.
- Enter your name (or sign in) and the game code.
- Tap **"Join Game"**.
- You are now in the lobby! Wait for the host to start the first round.
2. Making Your Guesses
Once the game starts, you'll taste **Wine 1**. Use your senses to deduce what it is.
What you'll guess:
Varietal:
What grape is it? (e.g., Pinot Noir)
Region:
Where is it from? (e.g., Napa Valley)
Price:
What is the price range? (e.g., $20-$30)
Trivia:
Test your knowledge with a bonus question!
Remember, the scoring is exact match only, so think carefully before you submit!
3. Understanding Results
After everyone submits their guesses, the host reveals the wine. You'll see:
- **Your Score:** Points earned for correct answers.
- **The Bottle:** The actual wine details revealed.
- **Leaderboard:** How you stack up against your friends.
