Host FAQs

Pour-and-rinse works fine! Have everyone taste Wine 1, then rinse with a little water before Wine 2. Many pros actually prefer this.
Yes! Tell them "We're tasting California Reds" but keep the specific bottles a secret until the reveal.
Absolutely. Use 'Blind Host Mode'—have a friend or partner bag the wines for you, and you can play along just like everyone else.
One standard bottle provides about 8-10 tasting pours. For 6 people tasting 4 wines, 1 bottle of each is plenty.
Remind them to keep it secret! Part of the fun is seeing everyone's guesses revealed at the same time.
